Given Indonesia’s connectivity hurdles, including the country’s archipelago landscape and lack of urban and suburban fiber, Internet and 5G delivery via traditional optical fibre cables has proven to be challenging. Along with NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone), the pair are banding together to build a wireless laser communications network that will not only deliver high-speed internet connectivity but at a much lower total cost than fiber.
Similarly, partnerships with M1-owned Glocomp in Malaysia and Exclusive Networks in much of the rest of APAC are well-poised to help improve connectivity across campuses, seaports, rural areas and the country as a whole.
